
BigCommerce Brand Awareness
OPPORTUNITY
The Make it Big campaign was the first big customer-focused initiative for the BigCommerce brand, that shared how actual users and business owners felt about the product. The goal was to drive audiences to specific case studies that highlighted the data and first hand benefits of the platform, and then have them demo or trial. My role was to pitch a vision to the broader marketing team, art direct and coordinate internal and outside resources to hit the established timelines for production delivery, and design the first round of promotional materials for testing.
SOLUTION
Originally this was scoped for only photography creative. When I joined the project, I recommended we capture the interviews on video to maximize our content options. I presented storyboards and gathered bids from external production agencies. After approval I was on-set and conducted the interviews for video and case study content. The video strengthened the messaging and overall engagement, and definitely contributed to why this was the most successful campaign of that year.
